Beach Wedding in Indiana Dunes National Park

Ever dreamed of a tropical beach wedding? But not sure if everyone is willing to fly in. We’re often overlooking our very own vast sandy beaches of Lake Michigan even though most of the wedding season we’ve got the heat. In our hottest months weddings are actually less coveted than in September when it gets cooler. But it’s always refreshing by the lake. And in the hottest months places like Indiana Dunes do have a tropical feel to them.

This is Jess and Matt, who planned a gorgeous beach wedding in Mexico, but their wedding planning got a swift turn when the pandemic made it impossible. Wedding had to be home, it had to be very small, but this couple were one of those who didn’t want to put life on hold.
